Desk Mount Light Stand

This is a light stand that attaches to the edge of your desk, and is adjustable from 14 to 25 inches. It comes with a 5/8" baby pin adapter, as well as 1/4"20 threaded mount. This is a great way to keep your desk clean assuming you have an over hang it can attach to.

Articulated Arm

This is a 9" Articulated Arm with Rosettes. The advantage of the rosettes is that it locks the arm in the position it is locked in, so it can't slowly drift down under a load. The trade-off is that it moves in 6 degree steps, but it is still plenty adjustable to get the light exactly where you need it to be. This also comes with a cold shoe mount, and a 1/4" double female adapter for gender changing, and adds another 2" top the overall length if used in this configuration. This arm works great with our stackable battery pack/mount, as well as our magnetic mount.

Magnetic Mount

This is a 55 pound direct pull strength magnet with 1/4" 20 thread, which when used with an articulated arm, allows you to attach the MiniCine Light to any ferrous metal with plenty of support. It is rubber coated so it won't damage surfaces. It is 2.6" or 66mm in diameter. I recommend using this with the Articulated Arm we sell, to give you maximum flexibility of getting the light where you want it.

USB to 12V Adapter

This is an adapter that allows you to run one MiniCine Light off of a USB power bank. You can see it being used in the rotating videos where the light is powered. It has a 3' cable, and works great when you don't have electricity or a 12V battery source.

Barn Doors for MiniCine Light

These are the standard barn doors for the MiniCine Light. They are the most compact version, but do not close over the eggcrate. they will close over regular filters, and I think they look the coolest. They close completely flat and can be removed by loosening one screw. The amount of friction for rotation is adjusted with the same screw, which uses a captive locking nut, meaning it has a nylon insert so it won't come loose. Similarly the barn door tension can also be adjusted and also uses locking nuts, but a wrench or pliers will be needed to make this adjustment as these nuts are not captive.

Lantern Diffusion for MiniCine Light

This is a little lantern diffusion adapter I designed for when we are camping. It not only provides a nice diffusion softening the light, but it also spreads the light in a wide pattern. I hang it from the middle of our tent, and it provides a great light to light up everything in the tent. This is kind of the opposite of all of the other light modifiers which are generally designed to control the light, as it both softens the light and gives maximum spread, making it a good overhead light adapter.

Tabletop Mic Stand with Baby Adapter

This is a great option if you are using the light on a desktop or for tabletop gaming. It doesn’t have the same look as the lightstand option, but has a smaller footprint, and a heavier base, so this is what I use at my editing desk. It is simply a desktop mic stand, with a baby adapter screwed to the 3/8″ stud. This works best with the 45° yoke mount since that mount allows the light to point almost straight down without shifting the weight too far off axis, making it extra stable.

Not only is this tiny tripod fully functional, but it looks great too. Ideal for use with the MiniCine Light with 45° Yoke mount, which allows the light to aim almost straight down, and makes your desk look like a filmset.
