This is a great option if you are using the light on a desktop or for tabletop gaming. It doesn’t have the same look as the lightstand option, but has a smaller footprint, and a heavier base, so this is what I use at my editing desk. It is simply a desktop mic stand, with a baby adapter screwed to the 3/8″ stud. This works best with the 45° yoke mount since that mount allows the light to point almost straight down without shifting the weight too far off axis, making it extra stable.
