CINETECHGEAR LLC / REVIEW DRAFT

Terms of Service

Your account, purchases, responsible use, and the relationship with CTG.

Who these terms are for

These draft terms describe the proposed relationship between you and CineTechGear LLC (CTG) when using CTG accounts, connected services, and the web store. Product-specific purchase terms and the applicable software license will be shown before an order is placed. These drafts do not open checkout or create an agreement today.

Your account and access

Use an email address you control and keep your sign-in method secure. A verified CTG account connects supported software purchases, device activations, and recovery. CTG does not require newsletter subscription to create an account, restore a purchase, obtain support, or use paid features. Hardware guest checkout remains to be decided.

Access comes from verified purchases and the capabilities included in each product or plan. A purchase code, where used, is a one-time claim to your account; it is not a password or a transferable license. Do not sell or share account access or claim codes to bypass license limits.

Orders and payment sources

CTG intends to use Square for website payments. An order must show the item, configuration, price, applicable tax, shipping, and total before you authorize payment. A catalog entry or coming-soon listing is not a completed order. An unsuccessful or pending payment does not unlock a paid license.

Purchases through Apple or Google remain purchases through that store. Linking or restoring them to CTG does not charge you again through Square. Manage store billing, subscriptions, and refund requests through the relevant provider. An offer for the CTG web store does not change an App Store or Google Play price.

Subscriptions and changes

If CTG offers a subscription, the checkout must clearly state the recurring price, billing period, renewal behavior, and cancellation method. A one-time purchase must be identified as such. Cancellation stops future renewal; valid access continues through the paid period, subject to a verified refund or other lawful termination.

CTG will explain material changes to applicable terms and obtain any acceptance required by law. Updates do not silently turn a one-time purchase into recurring billing. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

Responsible use and your work

Do not attack the service, spam other users, impersonate someone, forge purchase records, or bypass access controls. You retain ownership of your footage, scripts, audio, and projects. Providing content for support gives CTG permission to use it to address that request, rather than a general right to advertise with it.

CTG may restrict access reasonably needed to address fraud, security threats, or unlawful use, with a recovery or review route when appropriate. Equipment and software compatibility depend on the published requirements. Follow the instructions and electrical ratings for each product.

Closing an account

The connected service will provide account recovery and deletion requests. Deleting an account affects associated online services and license management; export work and review purchases first. It does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Required transaction, security, and legal records may be retained for the purposes described in the privacy policy.

Details still under review

CTG’s public contact details, business location, applicable jurisdiction, hardware warranty, return rules, and any proposed limits of liability must be confirmed before these terms take effect. No arbitration requirement, waiver of consumer rights, or final liability limit is established by this draft.
